PEACE, LOVE AND PATCHOULI

Patchouli is an essential oil that is found in our Zum Valentine bath and body products. Patchouli's botanical name is Pogostemon cablin. Patchouli is often associated with the hippies and the 1960s. The fragrance of patchouli is rich, earthy and grounding. (Peace, love and patchouli). It is also known for it's aphrodisiac effect hence why it is being used in Zum's Valentine line. Yea Baby!

Patchouli essential oil has been shown to benefit the mind, body and spirit. It is used in many bath and body products because it has been known to help treat eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis. Emotionally, patchouli is calming and grounding. It has also been known to uplift mood, drive away disappointment and relax tension. (I think I need several bottles. How bout you?) Spiritually, patchouli has been used alone or in blends during prayer and meditation.
